Participation starts
with the right format.

Some groups enjoy quick answers and lively discussion. Others prefer solving a puzzle together at the table. The activity should suit how your guests like to participate, with time for everyone to contribute.

Book a session on its own, add it to a company afternoon or use it as entertainment after a meeting. A facilitator introduces the activity and guides the group through each stage.

Quiz and Trivia Nights

Short themed rounds give teams time to compare answers. A mix of topics lets different people contribute, while a host keeps the quiz moving and explains the next round.

Team-Building Events

Small groups work on shared tasks using the materials at each station. Choose seated activities or challenges with more movement, depending on the group and the space available.

Escape Room Events

Guests follow clues through puzzle stations, with props building an adventure or mystery story. A facilitator helps them get started; nobody is physically locked in a room.

Give the evening a storyline

Murder Mystery
Events

Characters and clues give guests a story to follow together. Choose a lightly hosted mystery or a more theatrical evening, with role instructions sent ahead so people arrive knowing what to expect.

Clues appear in stages, leading to a final reveal. Guests can take individual characters or work in teams. A team approach can suit people who enjoy solving the mystery but would rather not perform.

The story and level of participation are chosen to fit the group. If you’re serving a meal, the mystery can pause between stages and resume once everyone is ready.

What brings your group together?

A welcome for new colleagues needs a different activity from an end-of-project celebration. Tell us whether you want people to mix across teams, enjoy a shared challenge or simply take a break together.

Choosing team sizes

Smaller teams give each person more time to contribute. Larger groups may work better across several stations. You can keep familiar teams together or mix people who don’t usually work alongside each other.

Let us know if seated tasks, larger print or quieter instructions would help. Choosing the format with those needs in mind gives guests a more comfortable way to join in.

Keep the activity moving

The facilitator introduces each task, answers questions and helps groups move to the next stage. A short explanation before every round is easier to follow than a long briefing at the start.

Breaks give people time to talk between rounds. Finish with a shared reveal or a look back at the activity, then leave guests ready for the next part of the event.

Custom quiz content

A quiz can use a favourite theme or include a round about your organisation. Send the facts you want to feature and choose someone to check the questions before the event.

How a two-hour
session could run.

A two-hour session could include a welcome, two or three activity blocks, a short break and a final reveal. The number of rounds depends on group size and how much time each task needs. We can help you fit that sequence around the rest of your event.

Common questions

Which activity is best for a group that does not know each other?

A quiz or collaborative task gives people a straightforward reason to talk. Short rounds and small teams make introductions easier. Tell us about the group’s interests so we can suggest a starting point.

Can a quiz include questions about our organisation?

Yes. Send the facts or topics you’d like to use and someone to check them. Mixing a company round with broader topics gives newer colleagues a chance to contribute too.

How physical are the team challenges?

Quizzes and tabletop puzzles can be largely seated. Other challenges need more movement and space between stations. Tell us what would work best for your group before choosing the activity.

Do mystery events require acting experience?

No. A lightly hosted mystery uses simple character instructions and prompts. Guests can share roles or solve clues as a team if they prefer a less theatrical evening.

Can an escape-room format come to our venue?

Yes, where there is room for the chosen puzzle stations and props. Share the layout and guest count so we can suggest how teams could move through the story.

Can the programme be part of a longer event?

Yes. Send the wider running order, including meals and presentations. We’ll help find a slot with enough time for introductions, the activity and a finish before guests move on.
