An offline entertainment service
Table Wave organises themed social events. Casino-inspired activities use play chips or points as part of the entertainment. No money is staked, and no cash or prizes with real-world value are awarded based on play. The service does not provide online gambling, betting accounts, deposits, withdrawals or a platform for wagering.
Any fee is for the agreed event service: planning, hosting, equipment, styling and other listed production work. It does not buy a stake in a game or an opportunity to win money. We do not organise cash buy-ins, cash-outs, paid rebuys or value-based gaming rewards.
Our age policy
Table Wave applies a 20+ business policy to this adult-themed event service. This is our service policy and should not be read as a statement that the event is a licensed casino or that every themed activity has a statutory age limit of 20.
The organiser must plan an eligible guest list and communicate the policy in advance. If eligibility is uncertain, discuss how it will be managed before confirmation. We do not ask guests to upload identity documents through the website. Children’s entertainment and childcare are not part of this service; family-style gatherings are adapted for adult participants.
Clear expectations for guests
The agreed programme should explain the activity, how to join and when each part of the evening takes place. Hosts can introduce the format in plain language and help guests follow it. Participation should remain comfortable, with room to watch, take a break or choose a quieter part of the event.
Themed terms, props, scoreboards and styling are part of the social setting. They must not be used to suggest financial returns, a real-money competition or a chance to recover losses. We do not arrange side betting or value-based prize mechanisms around the activities.
Venue and event arrangements
Each venue must be suitable for the proposed equipment, guest count and programme. Access routes, seating, power, operating hours and sound restrictions are considered in planning. Outdoor arrangements also need a practical weather alternative.
Food and alcohol are separate unless expressly included in an agreed scope. Any alcohol supply must follow the applicable New Zealand requirements through an appropriately authorised venue or provider. The entertainment should not rely on alcohol consumption, and unsafe or disruptive behaviour may require an activity to pause.
Discussing a suitable format
If a casino theme would be uncomfortable for someone in your group, consider a quiz, collaborative challenge, visual celebration or another suitable direction. You do not need to share a person’s private history to discuss a different format. Tell us the practical preference and we can review options.
Tell us about access, sensory or participation arrangements that would help your guests. We review what can be accommodated with the venue and within the proposed scope. Clear expectations are more useful than promising the same arrangement will suit every person.
